Mark is responsible for the day to day running and technical support of geotechnical, geoenvironmental and energy services at NX Consulting. He has over 30 years experience working in the construction industry working with a variety of clients in nuclear, education, commercial, industrial, healthcare and residential sectors.
Specific experience includes developing and implementing remediation strategies, site investigation and geotechnical design, and conducting contaminated land assessments using human health and groundwater risk assessment models. Mark has regulatory and commercial experience working with both the Environment Agency and providing due diligence advice to banks, developers and funders on potential liabilities associated with contamination. He is also a former steering group member of the YCLF.
As board director within a multi-disciplinary consultancy Mark was responsible for technical output for 7 UK based offices.
Chris is an experienced Geo-environmental specialist with 20 years postgraduate experience in the field of geo-environmental consultancy and site investigation, encompassing; design consultancy, risk assessment and lecturing.
Chris has significant experience working within both a commercial consultancy practice and within a regulatory capacity for local Authorities. He is an expert in human health and controlled waters risk assessment modelling.
Keith has over 20 years experience of geotechnical and contaminated land projects. He is a chartered geologist and provides technical guidance to NX in coal mining risk, detailed geotechnical design and slope stability analysis. He has excellent knowledge of all aspects of site investigations, geoenvironmental assessments, earthworks specifications and the use of industry software including Holebase, SLOPE_W, P-Disp, LandSim, WALLAP and AutoCAD.
Andrew provides geo-environmental services to NX across the UK. He has over 5years experience of supervision of site investigations throughout the UK and is experienced in a broad range of drilling techniques including cable percussion, rotary drilling and coring, geobore S wireline, symmatrex, rotary auguring, window sampling and trial pitting. He is skilled in logging soil and rock in accordance with BS 5930:2015 and Eurocode 7 and helps draft Phase 1 desktop surveys, Phase 2 geoenvironmental assessments, remediation and validation reports.
He is proficient in managing investigations on Network Rail sites where PTS and CSCS is required.
Steve is responsible for the delivery of energy related services for NX. He was one of a handful of assessors across the UK to gain the maximum strand of accreditation to complete Commercial Energy Performance Certificate’s (EPCs). At the time he was working with one of the industry leading organisations and worked with the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) on the implementation of non-residential EPCs in England and Wales. Within this collaboration, Steve sat on the DCLG Air-Conditioning Inspection (ACI) committee. He also managed EPC and DEC compliance for several large Blue Chip and Public Authority property portfolios.
